Last Sunday, we adopted two kittens, which we've named Corduroy and Niles. They are the coolest cats ever. They're destined for notoriety in these sacred halls o' nerdy. Pictures coming soon. I'm still mildly allergic to cats, but not really to these ones, so I've got that going for me. Which is nice.

I've figured out the methodology for the order of the names Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young: they're ranked in degree of intelligence, from Shithead (Crosby) to Genius (Young).

Hey, looky here... the site is totally different. A quick little tour: Up top, you've got the links to the site's features... these photo links will take you to the Carte-oons page, Haikus, Mocha Bovine stuff, and music, film, and book recommendations.
You may wonder why I'm still doing a site this way and not just using a blogspot or livejournal site... here are four reasons:
1. This is kind of my sketchbook/romper room for learning Web design and developing code writing skillz
2. It's more fun to have boundless aesthetic control
3. no ads
4. stayin' true to nerdy.net, yo.
Of course, the site isn't totally functional yet, but it will be really soon. At that point, I'll post something else. I hope everyone reading this is safe and sound, happy and healthy, surrounded by and full of love. More to come soon...
